The Previous Review Is Not All We Need To Know
Granted this is a perfectly awful mish-mash that could only have been by made by the group at Weiss Global. Some current names in the news, a hokey plot, some music, some crazyiness. It's totallity a relic
It was the first writing credit for a young 24 year old ex-marine named Arnold Rothman, a rubber-faced crazy comedian, writer, director, producer and executive who after this did a few films as an actor and writer in the 50's both in films and on television a lot with and for Martin and Lewis.
Television was where he became a famous hit maker. A partial list of his hit series include "The Real McOys" 1961-62, "Bewitched" 1964-65 "That Girl" 1967-1969, the brainey mis-fire "My World And Welcome To It" 1969-70 and his most famous program from 1974-82 "Barney Miller" and it's short-lived spin-off "Fish.", among others.
There are a million Danny Arnold stories in Hollywood and he truly is not only a legend, but a true genius in every since of the world. This was his first effort. Who knew what would follow?
For extreme buffs only. They'll get this.

Colossally, Stunningly, Stupendously Bad!
That Timothy Farrell ("Glen or Glenda," "Dance Hall Racket," etc) has a leading role tells us all we need to know. Words cannot describe this screwy exploitation flick. You'll have to experience the catastrophe for yourself. A real find for atrocious movie lovers. Three stars for the jaw-dropping awfulness of it all.
CAST TRIVIA: Timothy Farrell's character name (Umberto Scalli) is the same in three feature films: "The Devil's Sleep," "Racket Girls" and "Dance Hall Racket." I would love to know the backstory behind this one!
